


GR8 Space Ltd. was formed in 2002 by its directors, the Liddell family, following the successful sale of their pervious company (which employed a staff of 250), to a large public company.

More than two decades of restoration & conversion:
During this time we were possibly the largest developer specialising in the conversion of historic buildings; and built a reputation for quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Developments were completed throughout the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestorshire.
Examples of these developments, include barns and manor house conversions, and can be found across all counties in Chadbury, Pillerton Priors, Harvington, Great Rissington, Black Bourton, Mickleton, Feny Compton, Oxhill, Mathon and Sandlin.
Our commercial developments at this time included: offices in London, St. Albans, Rickmansworth and Statford upon Avon.
During this time developments became nationwide and included:
Welwyn Village, Herts - A Grade 2 listed manor house set in 10 acres of parkland was converted into 6 apartments, with 16 new houses in the grounds.
Hemel Hempstead - The Lockers School - a Grade 2 listed Georgian Mansion and Henry VIII Shooting Lodge into apartments, together with 3 new houses.
Royal Birkdale - conversion of a Victorian mansion to form 25 apartments.
Warwick adjacent to the Castle - a group of period buildings including Tudor Georgian and Victorian periods, were converted into 31 homes including apartments and cottages.
Birmingham, Jewellery Quarter - a conversion of a Victorian printing works into 11 apartments and cottages.
Smiths Flour Mill - is the signature development of our new company.
