Walsall's Renaissance

Walsall is being totally transformed. Between now and 2015 ambitious proposals will see the town centre revitalised, canalside areas reborn and acres of derelict land rejuvenated. The £755 million regeneration of the town was announced last year and is expected to create more than 5,500 new jobs and the construction of 1,600 new homes

New public spaces, upmarket offices, leisure facilities, shops, restaurants, bars all within this vibrant cosmopolitan market town will be delivered within the ten-year renaissance programme, creating a tremendously exciting destination that will put Walsall on the map

Spanning 1,926 acres this regeneration scheme is spearheaded by the Walsall Regeneration Company. The result – exceptional quality of life for those living, working and visiting the town.
